Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform is Australia’s only not-for-profit Co-regulatory Arrangement operating under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS). We work for our Members (leading IT brand owners), not for profit, providing a lean and sustainable arrangement to meet their liability under the Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, the Brand and Digital Marketing Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand and marketing strategy. As part of a small marketing team, this role suits a marketing generalist who enjoys being both hands on and strategic. The role is responsible for the development and delivery of targeted marketing and communications initiatives, and the production, execution and management of a variety of campaign elements. These include social media, digital (especially email marketing and website), print and collateral both internally and externally, and ensuring all materials, messaging and communications resonate with our target audience, elevate our brand presence, and drive business growth.

You will be responsible for:

  • creating, coordinating and executing effective and engaging communications strategies for diverse stakeholders including Federal, State and Local Government, peak bodies, Members, the business and broader community to generate awareness, build loyalty and drive business growth.
  • assisting in the development and the implementation of the company’s brand strategy, designing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and activities that align with company objectives.
  • overseeing the brand alignment, preparing and/or collaborating with third party organisations to create, schedule and publish innovative web site copy, social media strategy and content including video, blogs, and collateral to promote ANZRP, and TechCollect to members, collection partners and followers.
  • planning, creating and executing email marketing campaigns and compliance and analytics reporting.
  • utilising market research to understand consumer and business trends and competition and use insights to refine brand strategies.

In addition, you will:

  • produce high quality graphic designs maintaining brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • cultivate and manage relationships with agencies, media and print production partners.
  • contribute to specialised projects, process improvement, member engagement, technology solutions, digital strategy and enhanced reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree qualifications in design, marketing, communications and/or advertising.

To be successful in this role you:

  • will use your advanced graphic design skills and creative flair to develop innovative ideas that provide marketing and communications solutions to enhance the profile of ANZRP and stakeholder challenges.
  • have an eye for detail, are thorough when performing work, follow company policies and procedures, guidelines and business rules to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • can build and maintain internal and external relationships and customer satisfaction with the products, services and customer service experience offered by the organisation.

Experience

  • 5 + years of relevant digital marketing (email marketing and website maintenance) and graphic art/design experience from within a commercial setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with creative briefing, graphic design, print and video production processes for a range of services, online, printed and outdoor collateral.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite desktop publishing programs, Microsoft Office Suite and other business tools such as Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated skills in graphic design and the design and delivery of marketing and publications processes and procedures to support the business need
  • Knowledge in recycling / waste management or product stewardship highly desirable but not a pre-requisite.
