Overview of job:The Brand Marketing Designer will be part of the team responsible for the look and feel of the UK’s biggest commercial radio brands (Heart, Capital, Smooth, Classic FM, Radio X, Gold & LBC).We are seeking a talented and creative Brand Designer to join our team. As a Brand Marketing Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing visual assets that effectively communicate our brand identity and messaging. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, and events, to create compelling designs for various marketing materials, digital assets, and brand collateral. In the first few months, you would have:Develop a deep understanding of our brands, our competitors, and the market in which we operate.Demonstrate high levels of creative enthusiasm, highlighting your passion through ground-breaking and eye-catching designs.Collaborate and build positive relationships with your peers and key partners across the business.Create appealing end-to-end campaigns, from concept and ideation right through to production and delivery across a range of channels.Responsibilities of the role:Working closely with the team to create work that is of the standard of an outstanding design agency.Create and design marketing materials, including logos, packaging, brochures, banners, social media assets, presentations, and other brand collateral.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand brand strategies, product features, and target audience, and translate them into effective visual design concepts.Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual elements, and tone of voice across all marketing touchpoints.Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and competitive landscape to inform brand design decisions and maintain a fresh and innovative approach.Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed to execute brand-related projects and campaigns.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the brand’s visual presence.Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns, events, and product launches with visually compelling designs.Use graphic design software and tools to create high-quality designs and artwork that meet brand guidelines and technical specifications.Ensure timely delivery of design projects, managing multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.What you will need:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) as a brand designer.Outstanding portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of brand design, typography, layout, and composition.Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Solid understanding of design principles and experience designing for various platforms and channels.Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and strategies.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.*Please submit your portfolio with your application*Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Brand Designer, and help shape the future of our brand through compelling and impactful design.
