The Opportunity

 

The position holder will be responsible to support the country office in consolidating the annual organizational budget and produce different periodic management report for decision making. In addition, ensuring the appropriate allocation of the organization cost recovery.

 

The Individual

 

Qualifications/ Experience Essential:

  • Master’s degree and BA degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience, out of which at least 3 years at managerial/ Senior level.
  • Directly relevant professional experience (e.g. finance, accounting, grants management)
  • Demonstrated understanding to Government of Ethiopia labour, tax and financial reporting requirements;
  • Skilled in analysing data;
  • Advanced EXCEL knowledge and different accounting software’s.
  • Good communication skill.

Qualification Desirable:

  • Fluency in English language is essential
  • Knowledge of Local Languages is a desirable

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)

 

  • Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
  • Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding policies;

Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.
