Work Schedule | Full time = 40 hours per week: Part time=20 hours per week: All shifts are subject to change based on Department / University needs without prior notice at the University’s discretion. Mandatory Personnel These positions are designated as ‘mandatory’ and, when contacted to report to work, the employee is expected to reach the campus as expeditiously as possible using normal precautions as dictated by the adverse weather conditions. |
Primary Purpose of Position | To maintain clean and sanitary conditions in classrooms, labs, lecture halls, offices, common areas, restrooms, and various other areas within Academic, Athletic, and Administrative buildings on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. |
Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Contact the Benefits department of Human Resources for more information. ● Please note; that first, second, and third shift positions may receive a shift premium pay of ten percent (10%) above the regular hourly rate per University policy.
