| Primary Purpose of Position | This position serves as the Lead BES Technician and performs building services throughout Belk Gymnasium & Rec. Facilities, and accurately sets up recreational spaces for Academic and Recreational Services programming along with special events. |
| Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, one year of experience demonstrating the ability to follow instructions in operating specialized floor-cleaning or other cleaning equipment and in performing medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |

| Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education | At least one year of previous cleaning experience and knowledge with cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers, Kaivac, vacuums. Experience with event set-up and staff supervision. |
