Business Adoption ManagerHybrid Working, 2 days per week in central Newcastle upon Tyne and home workingPermanent, full time (37.5 hpw),This is a Band 5 role and the salary we pay will sit within this band that starts from £33,500 per annum. As our Business Adoption Manager, you’ll lead the integration of our strategic platform Salesforce, making a direct impact on our operational efficiency and supporting our colleagues in delivering outstanding service for our customers.You will be critical to the success of the programme, that is why we have assured you are part of the programme board directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, our Executive Sponsor of Salesforce.   • Lead in producing and managing business adoption plans, working alongside our project managers, you will embed plans that support the success of capability adoption across the business.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to align on objectives and ensure a cohesive adoption strategy that enhances our customer experience.
  • Communicate with the business and key stakeholders to assure risks and issues are mitigated effectively and efficiently. In a fast-paced environment we need you to be a strong problem solver who can bridge the relationship between project and business.
  • Effective listener who can understand root causes of problems impacting business adoption and work with project managers and delivery teams to articulate problems and improvements to capabilities being delivered.
  • Reviewing the latest project updates and preparing for Programme Board meeting where your insights drive strategic decisions.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions, ensuring all feedback is accurately captured and addressed to refine system functionality

  • Proven experience leading business adoption in a dynamic, agile environment—preferably within the Housing Sector.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a flair for building relationships and communicating effectively across all levels of the business.
  • A strategic mind, capable of devising and implementing comprehensive business adoption plans that align with organisational goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor project progress and identify risks, maintaining a clear path to successful implementation.
  • A collaborative spirit that thrives in team settings, driving the integration of cross-functional teams to succeed as a one team.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, always ready to tackle challenges with innovative solutions that propel us forward.

  • Flexible working hours (or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you).
  • You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that!
  • This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend 2 days in the office, 3 days working at home, however this role will need you to be flexible based on the programme needs.
  • Able to use technology such as Teams, Miro or DevOps this assures that everything you do is integrated with the wider programme plans.
