Business Analyst – Information Management – £550-£566 per day – Inside IR35 – Hybrid working 2 days a week on site in Bristol.My client, the biggest producer of ZERO CARBON energy in the UK is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in waterfall methodologies while being adaptable to agile practices. Proficiency in Visio and Jira is essential, and experience in Information Management disciplines such as Information Architecture, Master Data Management, and Database System Development will be a valuable bonus.Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis: Apply 5+ years of business analysis expertise to large-scale digital projects, providing strategic insights that drive business success.Requirements Gathering: Translate business needs into a comprehensive Requirements Catalogue, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness to achieve consensus on key project deliverables.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various disciplines and levels to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and align goals.Team Collaboration: Work closely with analysis and architecture teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated project approach, sharing best practices and lessons learned.Workload Management: Take full ownership of your workload, prioritizing tasks effectively, meeting deadlines, and adapting to evolving project requirements while maintaining high-quality deliverables.Technical Expertise: Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, to create process flows, diagrams, and visual representations that enhance communication of complex concepts.Information Management: Experience in one or more of the following areas will be a strong advantage: Information Architecture, Information Analysis, Master Data Management, Data Administration, or Database System Development.Skills & Experience Required:Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis within large-scale project environments.Strong background in waterfall methodologies, with the ability to work in agile settings when required.Proficiency in Visio for process mapping and Jira for requirement tracking.Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience in Information Management disciplines is a plus.Degree-level qualification in Business, IT, or a related field preferred.
