Get actively involved in various project phases
Act as a key interface between users and development teams
Manage the functional qualification stage
Be in charge of requirement specifications and be the go-to person for developers in particular
Get actively involved in the software testing phase
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience working as a BA in P&C or financial services industry
Lloyds market, Genius, process flow documentation, specialty carrier experience preferred
Ability to work effectively in a team environment where project teams may not be co-located; also requires minimal direct supervision to execute the role
Ability to facilitate workshops to define business scope independently (also to elicit requirements identify impacts &mitigate risks )
Ability to define as-is and to-be business processes independently
Ability to act as a lead and liaison between the business users, stakeholders, development and testing team(s)
Develops independently specifications, user stories and/or BRDs as defined by the project requirements
Ability to provide input to project plans as well as raise risks/issues proactively, if required develop requirements management plan
Provides coaching and/or direction to BA colleagues as needed
Strong ability to problem solve in a business focused manner, but also leverage technical capabilities as needed
Possess strong relationship management skills
Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as agile, waterfall and/or a hybrid of the two
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have an understanding of JIRA, TFS (desirable)
Experience required:
Strong knowledge in P&C Insurance.
Experience handling 4 and more large project implementations.
