Business Analyst (2 Positions) – Curriculum Transformation (Education Technology)
Location: Edinburgh
Hybrid – Office/Remote
Day Rate Up to 400PD (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months (Potentially Extendable)Job Overview:
Are you a skilled Business Analyst passionate about transforming education? Join a leading educational institution in Edinburgh for a hybrid contract role, where you’ll help shape the future of learning and teaching. As a Business Analyst, you’ll be analysing the impact of curriculum changes on people, processes, and technologies while working alongside a dynamic team of stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
the impact of the new curriculum on learning technologies and digital platforms.
Collaborate with education, IT, and business experts to document impacted processes and systems.
Develop future-state models, assessing time, cost, and training needs for the transformation.
Present clear impact assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to the curriculum transformation business case and implementation plans.Essential Skills:
Experience as a Business Analyst in a learning organisation (e.g., university, school, or education technology company).
Strong skills in business analysis tools and delivering IT-based solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders across different levels.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex analyses clearly.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as user story mapping and Kanban boards.Desirable Skills:
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), virtual learning environments (VLEs), and digital eLearning platforms.
Knowledge of procurement, market analysis, and evaluating educational solutions.Why Apply?
