- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Responsible for monitoring, triaging, and remediation of production issues and requests in a timely manner, based on priority, and adhering to defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
- Expected to work with internal and external technology partners as well to conduct investigations, resolve issues, and perform/validate scheduled maintenance activities.
- Co-ordinate with team members from other regions (Toronto/India/London) to facilitate issue/task handovers as well as knowledge transfer sessions.
- Maintain problem/task ticket with up-to-date status and documentation of investigation and remediation details.
- Front-end support analyst supporting our Capital Markets – Global FX Cash, eFX, and FX Options business application and its stakeholders end-to-end.
- If resource capacity permits, will be required to assist in smaller enhancement work to assist with the BA team, in addition to primary support activities.
- Flexibility required for rotational shift support schedule including on-call and weekends during production releases and maintenance activities (Overtime will be paid).
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
- Contributes to a high performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vison/values/business strategy for the team.
Education
- ~2+ years experience in a Finance/Capital Markets technology support role.
- Self-driven, with proven communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Can work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence/Service Now.
- Experience with SQL and Unix.
- Experience with Murex and WSS FX is preferred and beneficial.
