Job Description

Sopra Banking Software is recruiting Business Consultant(s) to work within our Professional Services Consultancy team. Business Consultants are responsible for oversight of software implementation to our new and existing client base, ensuring that our platforms meet client requirements technically and operationally and play a fundamental role to successful delivery. The role is a core support role for the wider Sopra Banking Software business, imparting knowledge of our platforms, but also of the wider UK Financial Services marketplace with a specific focus on Mortgage or savings products. The successful candidate will display a willingness to gain a functional understanding of Sopra Banking Software’s products and solutions.

Qualifications

We are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes:

Essential Skills:

  • Must have experience working in a consultancy practice or experience with client/vendor management or B2B operation.
  • Experience within Financial Services, preferably within Mortgage or Savings related role.
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders of varying levels including C-Suite.
  • Provide guidance and solutions on Sopra Banking platforms whilst imparting expertise from industry standards and delivering operational excellence.
  • Possesses basic technical understanding of systems and software in order to support Pre-Sales activity and business case development.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop people as part of a scrum team or leadership positions.
  • Understands Product, project and software delivery lifecycles including test phases and can navigate these with confidence.

Additional Skills

  • The following qualifications would be relevant and beneficial but not essential.
  • CeMAP, CF1/2 or other Mortgage related qualifications.
  • Scaled Agile, PSM I/II to demonstrate software delivery fundamentals.
  • Has experience of data migrations projects.

Detailed working knowledge of the relevant regulation related to Mortgages or Savings
