pioneering work and responding to increased demand for sound and clear economics. As part of this growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Data and Bid
Co-ordinator
to join our team in Shoreditch, London, UK. We are looking for someone with administration and coordination experience, who wants to make a
contribution to a sustainable future.

At eftec, you will:

  • be part of a friendly team of people committed to putting economics to good use;
  • support clients in public, private and non-governmental organisations who are responding to
    the climate and nature crises;
  • facilitate provision of sound economic analysis from reducing chemicals risks on human
    health and nature, to managing water, land, biodiversity, from green finance to climate change
    and environmental accounting and much more; and
  • contribute to the management and growth of eftec.

Key duties:

1. You will be working with the rest of the team to coordinate their inputs to prepare winning
bids and manage the business. You will be supporting the team, in particular the Board of
Directors, in achieving the strategic goals of the company: to create positive change for
nature and people, to make eftec a great place to work in and to maintain the high quality of
our work.

2. Your time will be spent between bid (tender) management and business data monitoring and
reporting. Over the course of a year, we expect the split to be 50-50 but at any given time one
part of the work may require more time, depending on the needs of the business.

3. Business data monitoring and reporting:

  • Maintain our existing MS Excel based KPI management systems
  • Coordinate collation of data from across the eftec team
  • Report KPIs to the Board of Directors
  • Organise internal team meetings about company management

4. Bid (tender) management

  • Working with eftec and partner teams, coordinate inputs through the bid process, compiling
    tender submission documents to meet tender requirements and working with eftec and partners to
    prepare and submit proposals on time
  • Keep our workflow management systems up to date (training to be provided)
  • Provide project contract support to the Chief Operating Officer (training to be provided)
  • As you become more familiar with eftec’s services, you could be involved in monitoring
    tender sites

Requirements for the role:

  • Degree education on relevant topics and/or relevant experience working in a small to medium
    sized consultancy;
  • Must be organised and able to prioritise your own work to deliver on time;
  • Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and a keen attention to detail,
    and
  • Someone who shares eftec’s strategic goals.

  • £35,000-£40,000 per annum negotiable salary based on 37.5 hour working week plus
    discretionary profit-share

Place in organisational structure:

The post holder will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and be part of the Operations Team.
