G&P is a world leading quality management provider, working closely with key automotive, aerospace and off-highway manufacturers and associated supply chains to improve quality and efficiency levels.G&P are now entering into an ambitious growth phase that will see it not only develop the breadth and depth of its core automotive, aerospace and off-highway divisions but also diversify into adjacent services, sectors and industries, underpinned by our market leading Quality Management technology development.Business Development Executive (Technical Services)This role is a key part in the future success of G&P in the UK and will support the Business Development Manager to grow the Technical Services activities across all designated industries, focussing on our key strategic initiatives;· Grow sales revenue· Business margin enhancement· Developing a high performing sales organisation· Support development of efficient and effective processes and reportingRole Mission StatementThe Business Development Executive reports to the Business Development Manager and is responsible for Territory based Technical sales activities with a focus on lead generation through the provision of analysis, reports, background information and communication in support of activities that will drive profitable growth across the UK. Core elements of the role include the following:· Using your experience, relevant data and research, expand support the development the Technical Services business in the UK and across all industries.· Support the commercial activity ensuring G&P are tendering/growing in line with objectives· Support the review of current Product propositions and propose enhancements so that G&P can add further value, including adjacent and additional services.· your primary focus will be prospecting and generating leads across the UK Business targets, and client campaigns. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to drive qualified opportunities for our clients.· Build and develop long lasting and trusting relationships with Customers and prospective decision making units, ensuring G&P become the natural choice· Ensure a collaborative approach across all business functions to ensure business success via clear communication and teamwork.This is a hands-on role where you demonstrate understanding of the business detail, exhibit critical thinking and support the business development drive by example.Functional interfaces:o Business Development Managero Group Commercial Managero Operations Managero Business Managerso Human Resourceso Talent Acquisition Specialistso Finance Managero Quality Managero Group Marketing ManagerActivities:· Responsible for supporting the growth in G&P’s market share in the technical services arena.· Contribute to the planned growth of the Company’s turnover and profitability by seeking out and winning new technical services business utilising your own network as well as G&P’s current customer database/relationships· Driving engagement through LinkedIn, email, and telephone calls, to generate both face-to-face and virtual meetings for our clients· Attend relevant events and shows, develop G&P brand using thought leadership,· Ensure strong meaningful relationships are built with key accounts decision makers.
