Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing successful proposals and managing business development tasks within the NGO sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write compelling proposals to secure funding and partnerships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with organisational goals and client needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, and project management within the NGO sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English..
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
