Redactive requires experienced business development managers with extensive experience of working in media sales to develop the revenues on our prestigious titles. Working as part of our Business and Finance sales team, as the successful candidate you will be an eager, ambitious, reliable and well-organised individual with a passion for selling.This role covers two prestigious, highly valued brands in the aviation and energy sectors – each the leading title in their own niche field. We need someone who enjoys generating revenues from key clients, delivers great account management, and develops new business. The role involves selling print, digital channels and sponsored events to meet sales targets; This will be achieved primarily by making effective outgoing sales telephone calls, as well as through attending face to face sales meetings and industry events as appropriate / when possible.With your knowledge of and experience in display media sales, you will take ownership of these
leading brands. Working with our editorial teams, our publishing clients and the wider commercial /
content support teams at Redactive, you will be given the support needed to generate sales success.You will be able to demonstrate previous success in possessing the following:
- A proven track record of working in a display and sponsorship media sales environment, with experience of both account management and successful new business development, ideally in the financial or insurance industry
- Strong understanding of publishing / media sales
- Experience in and understanding of:
- Presenting to senior audiences
- Creating compelling sales proposals
- High level negotiations
- Print and digital solutions
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Solutions orientated mentality
- Good time management skills with the ability to deliver projects within deadlines
- With hustle, but ethical in your approach to sales
- Ability to respond to pressurised situations
- Command of all basic IT skills and knowledge of digital stats, platforms etc
