SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of environmental consultancy services to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations. Our expert consultancy teams provide national coverage and tailored services including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join an enthusiastic team delivering Environmental Consultancy services to a wide range of clients across the UK. With a particular interest within the Environmental consultancy Industry to deliver new, profitable contracts as well as relationship building with existing customers. Focusing mainly on:

  • Contaminated land

Waste management * Environmental permitting

  • Environmental planning and geotechnical consultancy services

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:Sales experience relevant Environmental Consultancy and ideally a degree of technical background within this sector.Background in Environmental Consultancy/Contaminated Land ProjectsA proven track record of generating revenue through new sales prospecting and client development within the security systems sector.Experience of managing projects in a commercial settingSOCOTEC is the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and certification services.
