FINTEC recruit is looking for a Business Development Manager – European markets, for our Oil & Gas/Subsea client, this role. This is a permanent role with salary up to circa £70,000 plus 15% bonus + benefits based in Aberdeen. You will be working for a leading international business and this role has a focus on European markets where you will experience within a European marketplace focused on subsea excavation & decommissioning sectors. This role can be based remotely or based in the office in Aberdeen. You will be working as part of a global business development team, working closely with internal teams for proposals/tenders and with technical and operational teams to nurture existing clients and for business growth.
This role can be office based in Aberdeen or be based remotely.Responsibilities:

• Arranging face to face meetings with existing and potential clients
• To expand and generate new business opportunities with support for internal analysts
• Effective client communications and presentational skills, following up all enquiries and optimising scopes
• Maintain key accounts including prep for proposals and tenders.
• Work in line with sales to operations procedures, streamlining pre-sales & post sales, maximising delivery for clients.
• Develop and implement regional sales and marketing strategy, while supporting marketing initiatives
• Sharing knowledge internally through internal sales meetings & reporting
• Carry out post sales activity in maintaining customer satisfaction and service delivery

Skills and Experience required for the Business Development Manager role:

• Sales experience in an oil and gas role, in particular for Subsea/Decommissioning experience within European markets
• Experience working in a marine engineering environment/subsea/oil and gas markets
• Good IT skills, proficient in MS Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation skills in a business development or similar role
