Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering client relationships. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and contributing to the future success of BBGC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Opportunity Qualification:
  • Generate new business leads through various channels
  • Engage with potential clients, understand their requirements, and present tailored solutions.
  • Onboarding of new clients, whereby you will have ownership of the full process
  • Engage with prospects through various mediums (calling, email, social media).
  • Assist in developing a high-quality pipeline for net new business.

Tailoring Approach:

  • Understand and adapt to existing and prospect client requirements
  • Effective communication of the services we provide and how we can tailor to the needs of clients

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and industry challenges to tailor our technology solutions accordingly.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define target markets, client segments, and revenue goals.
  • Drive the contract closure process in collaboration with legal and senior management.

Collaboration with Delivery Teams:

  • Liaise effectively with project delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring client success.

Competently describe BBGC and its offerings to prospects:

  • Present to prospects and customers professionally, positioning BBGC as a market leader.
  • Establish direct relationships with customers, understanding their challenges and offering solutions.
  • Leading a team that would exceed quarterly opportunity and revenue team targets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Territory Managers for demand generation in strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years working as a business development manager within a technology consultancy.
  • Interest in consultative selling methodologies and understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Support for marketing activities and events.
  • Ability to build early-stage pipeline and develop prospect accounts.
  • Prioritize tasks in a competitive and pressurized environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter with motivation, confidence, and discipline.
  • Resilient and persistent, open to learning and guidance.
  • Previous customer-facing experience.
  • Keen interest in technology.
