The role:

Price management is a vital part of the Oil Free Air profitable growth strategy: with the right pricing for all product lines in all Product Companies we want to grow our market share & profitability. To further develop the vision for pricing excellence we are looking for a dynamic person to reinforce the Pricing Team.

In this position, you will take an active role in materializing our divisional pricing strategy. Analyzing and improving product pricing, development of processes & tools and helping our Customer Centers.

You will contribute to prepare for the launch of GEMS (SAP implementation) and to the introduction of pricing software for consistent price setting.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development of pricing tools that will help our Customer Centers to set their local list prices and generate local price lists;
  • Contribute to creating pricing strategies and -models;
  • Analyze the product portfolio for consistency in pricing within and between product lines in the different Product Companies;
  • Further build on visualization dashboards to create transparency on realized prices and how the Customer Centers apply the divisional strategy;
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of master data;
  • Manage configured products & options;
  • Coordinate the quarterly market share collection, actively review & validate data and trends;
  • Work closely with the Product Managers & Customer Centers in pricing related matter.

Experience:

  • An academic background in Economics, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent by experience;
  • You have commercial or marketing experience, preferably familiar with price setting & pricing strategies;
  • Product knowledge of the Oil Free Air product range is an asset;
  • Preferred experience with business systems BPCS, SAP, etc.;
  • Experience with data queries (AS/400 Query, SQL, …) or interest to master on short term;
  • Understand the implications of pricing on the financial results and on the business.

Skills:

  • Strong logical, analytical skills;
  • Able to work independently & take initiative;
  • Committed team player, interact well with all levels of the organization;
  • Result oriented and capable to identify areas for improvement and propose sustainable solutions;
  • Ability to work with deadlines and deliver on time;
  • Fluency in English is a must, other languages a plus;
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Quick learner, entrepreneurial attitude.
