Role overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the postholder will be responsible for providing finance
and administrative support to the organisation, as well as assist with office management
duties. Experience in a similar role is preferred, however, training will be provided for the
right candidate. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated and thrives on
being part of a busy team.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

  • To provide administration support to the organisation
  • To assist with bookkeeping, including processing invoices and purchase orders,
    manage/record credit card spends and ensuring all financial recording systems are accurate and
    kept up to date
  • To maintain filing systems in accordance with organisational procedures, including keeping
    records accurately and securely
  • To monitor office supplies including sourcing and ordering new stock (stationery, kitchen
    sundries, etc.) while making sure the equipment spreadsheet is up to date
  • To support Operation Manager in liaising with contractors and service providers
  • To organise meetings and maintain the office diary
  • To build strong internal relationships with colleagues and management

Role Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Experience within a similar administrative and financial role
  • Experience of using Quickbooks and other financial software
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Package including Word, Excel, and Outlook

The postholder will also need a keen eye for detail to process and analyse information, along
with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work autonomously and
manage workload is a must, plus having a creative approach and generating new ideas.

Additional information:

Hours: Part time 3 days per week, ideally Monday to Wednesday

Contract: Fixed Term (2 Years)
