Position description
Blood Centers of America (BCA) is the largest blood supply network in the U.S., uniquely positioning us to sustain, advocate and mobilize for the nation’s blood supply. · Conduct market research to support active projects and client initiatives;
· Conducts data analysis, tracking and forecasting to predict trends and outcomes;
· Support internal audits and perform quality assurance on raw data sources;
· Monitor and report on member compliance with policies and procedures;
· Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration;
· Create and support development of PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use;
· Provide high quality customer service and support at varying levels;
· Communicate key insights and findings to team;
· Translate analysis results to reports, slides and developer workflows;
· Follow and establish new workflows based on data, analysis, developer and end-user requirements;
· Implement & manage BI tools and dashboards that enhance data accessibility and visualization for stakeholders;
· Train team members on new data tools and best practices in data analysis;
· Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge;
· Assist in strategic planning efforts by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to guide decision-making processes;
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Genetics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related fields.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical staff/management;
· Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
· Ability to work independently, in a team setting, with partners, and with the blood center members;
· Adept at persuading and influencing behavior toward company’s vision and program growth;
· Strong and effective organizational skills and attention to detail;
· Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Proficiency in PowerBI and familiarity with Azure.
· Basic to intermediate skills in SQL and Python.
· Experience with ESRI Suite and knowledge of Adobe Suite is advantageous.
60k – 70k + Bonus
