PURPOSE
The Data BI Reporting Analyst is an expert on Tableau and data visualization and has very good knowledge of other reporting tools. She/he will develop interactive dashboards and support FAD business users. She/he reports directly to FAD_APPLIC Head in Manila in collaboration with FAD CORP/DAC unit in Geneva.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Internally, interacts within metier, with end-users, ICT and other units or departments in HQ and FD
- Externally, may interact with organizations that provide external data, in coordination with CIM_CORP_TRAK
MAIN TASKS
Development
- Define and help to develop interactive dashboards for business reporting needs in Tableau
- Interfaces with users to determine needs, uses and specifications of data requests and conducts detailed analysis of data requirements
- Troubleshoot / support in-house created BI dashboards for business users. Do revision on these reports if needed
- Create proper documentation for all Tableau reports developed
- May train business users on the use of Tableau desktop
- Develop and automate end-user Excel applications and reports, including requirements verification, design reviews, development and testing, and thoroughly documenting application solutions and processes
Data Quality
- Assists in improving, developing & applying data quality monitoring processes & tools (dashboards etc) and contributes where appropriate in DQ controls automation.
- Monitors data quality controls and consolidates, cleans and implements corrective actions.
Data Analytics
- Create and recommend new reports and key performance indicators for management
- Ensures the coherence of data with field reports, particularly for institutional reporting.
Data Support
- Ensures continuity and smooth transition of data entered into various system applications.
- Contributes to the development of the data model and usage of the referential data that supports analysis.
- Contributes to the definition of the overall testing strategy for the Information Systems. Executes testing of data, reporting and analytical reports
Additional Duties
- Respect and observe the staff regulations of the ICRC in Philippines
- Participate to MSSC general meetings
- The employee may be required to work overtime in line with the needs of the department/metier
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in science major in Mathematics, Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 5 years working experience in IT related to data warehouse and business intelligence support
- Knowledge in analytic and interactive dashboards is a must
- Experience in Data Visualization using Tableau
- Experience in large relational databases and SQL programming. Good knowledge in MS SQL is an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel/Access based in VBA development is an advantage.
- Exposure in various business management software or ERP software (e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle, Infor).
- Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus.
- Exposure to automation tools, such as Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere in an advantage
- Knowledge in SharePoint is an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
