Business Operations Lead – BankingA leading financial client is seeking an experienced Business Operations Lead. Starting ASAP with Hybrid working at their Belfast office.This strategic business operations role acts as a Chief of Staff to senior leadership, driving alignment between business goals and execution. The position blends finance oversight, workforce planning, and stakeholder engagement, serving as a conduit between the business and corporate functions (HR, Finance, Legal, etc.).Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnering: Support business unit leaders in driving operational efficiency and aligning with corporate objectives.
- Finance & Budget Management: Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, expense tracking, and productivity initiatives.
- Workforce Planning: Lead resource and skills planning, organisational health monitoring, and headcount forecasting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison across global functions and senior stakeholders, facilitating roundtable sessions and cross-functional coordination.
- Operational Governance: Ensure functional oversight, business continuity planning, and execution of strategic priorities.
- Culture & Communications: Promote a positive culture, drive engagement strategies, and support internal communications.
- Ad-hoc Leadership Support: Respond to evolving business needs through flexible, high-impact execution.
Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience in business operations, financial planning, or HR strategy
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
