PURPOSE
The Business Process Analyst ensures that business processes in the Finance and Administrative Division are carefully planned, designed, implemented, and continuously monitored. She identifies areas for improvement in existing processes and uses improvement methods to boost productivity and engagement across the organization. Her expertise in mapping, designing, and implementing processes helps the organization improve efficiency and effectiveness. Operating within a LEAN/Six Sigma/Agile framework, the Business Analyst helps the finance community create consistent, standardized business solutions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze current processes to find gaps, improve workflows, and redesign them to enhance finance operations in the Headquarters, Field delegations, and other locations within the Corporate Service Network (CSN).
- Map all details of current processes to understand the scope of existing processes and systems and find opportunities for optimization (simplification, standardization, and digitalization).
- Analyze all necessary changes with the relevant stakeholders for optimization.
- Actively participate in assigned Finance projects for project follow-up, business needs analysis, and description.
- Determine the detailed needs of financial users, management, and other stakeholders by directly liaising with requesters/process owners to translate and prioritize requirements for application functional enhancements and challenge business requests to ensure relevance to business objectives and priorities.
- Agree on scope and time scales with the business users and other stakeholders and supporting functions to achieve the best possible match between operational needs and expected solutions to be delivered.
- Translate high-level business requirements into business processes, detailed requirements, and detailed functional specifications, and specify components of solutions to support the delivery of user requirements.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation to be used as reference for preparing system implementation and training documents.
- Proactively communicate all related changes and deliver training to business users and management.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in roles such as Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, or similar positions.
- Strong understanding and experience in business processes modelling and requirements gathering techniques.
- Solid knowledge of software development methodologies
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, forward-thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities independently or in collaboration with others.
- Possession of certifications such as Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and Agile Project Management would be an advantage
