Business Start-up Consultant

Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is pleased to announce the opening of call for applications for Business Start-up Consultant under the project “Building Economic Stability for Returnees and Vulnerable Groups in Baghdad and Basra Governorates”.

WEO is looking for Business Start-up Consultant to join our team for a two-week period from September 01 to 15, 2024, as part of our project. In this role, the Consultant will play a critical part in the development and customization of a training curriculum for soft skills and business management. The Consultant will Work closely with participants to assess their needs and align training with current market demands, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in the job market.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough assessments of participants’ needs and market requirements through surveys, interviews, and market research.

· Identify key soft skills and business start-up gaps to be addressed in the training curriculum.

· Develop and customize a training curriculum tailored to market research reports and participants’ backgrounds, skill levels, and specific job market requirements.

· Provide expert advice and strategic guidance to new and existing start-up businesses.

· Assist clients in securing funding and managing financial resources effectively.

· Offer continuous support and mentorship to ensure long-term success.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver optimal results.

· Minimum five years of experience in business consulting, with a focus on start-ups and training curriculum development.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience in business consulting, with a focus on start-ups and training curriculum development.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficiency in market research tools and business planning software.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
