This role will contribute to the future of our credit risk platforms and strategic initiatives, including the Investec cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and analytical skills to deliver effective business solutions.What you will be doing

• Business Analysis: Contribute to the Credit Risk Programme through expert analysis and IT development.
• Requirements Gathering: Identify and articulate business needs, recommending viable solutions.
• Documentation: Elicit, analyse, document, validate, and verify requirements, ensuring consensus among stakeholders.
• Process Design: Define and optimise processes to be client-centric, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate requirements to ensure understanding across various groups.
• Solution Evaluation: Assess solutions to ensure they meet business needs and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

What we are looking for

• Experience: Strong in technical business analysis, particularly on large-scale projects within the financial services sector.
• Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Agile Scrum, with experience in modelling business processes using BPMN.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in writing complex SQL queries and interpreting system architecture, with experience in system integration projects.
• Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis, with basic knowledge of Azure, C#, MS SQL, Angular, Swagger, Java, and Oracle SQL being advantageous.
• Communication Skills: Strong facilitation and communication abilities, both written and verbal, across various audience levels.
• Continuous Improvement: Focused on delivery and self-improvement, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable but non-essential skills

• Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Azure certification is a plus.
