Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment. In a world of rapidly emerging technologies, we are leading a culture that embraces change and prepares for the future. Working in our Sales and Marketing Team, our Business Transformation Analyst will assist to deliver our strategy of ‘Simpler, Faster, Better.’

We want to meet candidates who are excited about emerging technology and how it can be used. You will help us with scoping, execution and deployment of technology-led business improvement projects by reviewing processes, identifying opportunities for operational improvement and applying digital technologies.

This role will be very well suited to a candidate who is curious, technically minded and a continuous learner. You don’t have to be an expert yet, we will show you how.

Working as Business Transformation Analyst you will:

  • Investigate, document and analyse business processes and activities;
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and transformation using technology & data;
  • Assist with business process change initiatives and development of requirements for new technology solutions;
  • Support end users through Transformational change and monitor the subsequent Business Value;
  • Conduct information gathering and analysis to understand strategic user requirements;
  • Review how business systems, data & technology are currently used and identify opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains;
  • Coach and support the business in the transition to digitally enhanced processes and a data driven culture;
  • Assist users to assess functional requirements against technology & data solutions;
  • Promote the appetite and ambition to modernise business processes;
  • Continuously seek out & promote digital advancements to benefit the ever-changing business needs.

Skills for Success

Joining us as the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • Previous experience delivering successful business change and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365 suite;
  • Ability to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments;
  • Technical competence;
  • An understanding of Root Cause Analysis through to capturing acceptance criteria.

The Attributes you’ll need include:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills;
  • Ability to apply creative thinking;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven organisation and planning skills;
  • An aptitude for teaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.

It is desirable if you have:

  • A third level IT or business qualification;
  • A qualification in business analysis
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power platform;
  • Understanding of Data Literacy concepts.
  • Experience with a Business Intelligence tool;
  • Negotiating and influencing skills.

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
