Coleraine, Northern Ireland
£35,000 – £45,000

Working hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

We’re looking for a Buyer/Estimator to join our client in their Coleraine facility. This is a full-time, permanent position.

They are a fast-growing multi-utility infrastructure company specialising in power networks, telecoms, HV, LV & EV systems throughout Ireland, UK & Europe.

The role is a bit of a mix between purchasing and estimating. You’ll be involved in bids & tenders, PQQ’s, creating Bill of Quantities, looking at specs & drawings to cost components and then negotiating with a mix of existing and new (which you will source) suppliers to get favourable lead times and quality vs cost. You’ll be purchasing subcontractors and materials.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years purchasing/estimating experience within engineering or construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ideally degree educated in Supply Chain, Construction or Quantity Surveying.
