The Buyer – IT & Marketing will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities for IT and marketing categories within the business. This position in Rocester requires a professional with a keen understanding of supplier management and cost optimisation in an industrial and manufacturing environment.

• Manage procurement processes for IT and marketing categories, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for cost savings and improved supplier terms.
• work with a global team, procuring for sites in the US, Asia and Europe.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts that deliver value while managing risks effectively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

• Experience in procurement, specifically within IT and/or marketing categories.
• Prior experience in a large organisation, to follow process and frameworks that are in place.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in analysing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• A background in the industrial and manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
• Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
