As the Meat & Poultry Buyer, Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing meat and poultry supplies to ensure the highest standards of quality and sustainability. This position involves international travel and offers a unique opportunity to shape our clients supply chain strategy.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for meat and poultry products.
• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with company goals.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet demand.
• Regular international travel to source products and meet with suppliers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in meat and poultry procurement, preferably in the food service or restaurant industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
