Brite is looking for a versatile café all-rounder to join us as a catering assistant at our new café in Broadmeadows. If you have experience in food preparation, cooking, and can make a great cup of coffee, this could be you!

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:
- Passion for hospitality and providing great customer service
- Flexibility and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be a supportive member within a team of diverse people
- Working or lived experience with people with disability is desirable
- Experience in a similar role, 2+ years
ABOUT THE ROLE
The following skills are required for this role:
- Extensive experience in preparing and cooking quality food in a café setting (e.g. baked goods, and lunch items)
- Fundamental barista skills needed and/or willingness to extend your barista skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café setting
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment
- Experience following safe food handling procedures, formal training preferred
- Management of stock levels and rotation
- Drivers licence to assist with supplier pickups and transport between Brite’s two Café sites
