CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS- Capacity Development of civil society organizations Combating Violence Against Women and Girls, and Support for Small-Scale Advocacy Campaigns in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

WEO in partnership with CESVI and INTERSOS, is implementing a project aims to improve the effectiveness of protective services, support and reintegration for women and girls’ survivors of violence in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

INTERSOS, CESVI, WEO are eager to announce call the opening of call for applications for the Capacity Building Program and Support for Small-Scale Advocacy Campaigns for local organizations supporting women’s rights under the project of “Protection and Support for Social Inclusion of Violence Against Women and Girls survivors in Kurdistan (AID 12704) “.

Below you will find a link containing information about the project and the application form. We invite Civil Society Organizations, and WLO/WRO to apply.

Project Duration: 15 months

• Registration certificate in Kurdistan.
• The organization should have a team to support this project in one of the locations (Erbil and Sulaymaniyah).
• The CSO should have an office in the location of operation.
• Willing to sign a letter of agreement with WEO, CESVI, and INTERSOS to commit to all project activities from January 2023 to April 2025.
• Actively involve in combating Violence against women and girls and prevention activities.
• Women’s rights, feminism, equal rights, civil rights, reproductive rights, supporting and empowering women and girls is a part of their vision and mission.
• Implemented/willing to implement women support and empowerment projects in KRI governorates
• The organization has at least five core staff who work on organizational strategy.
• Willing to adapt UNSCR 1325 WPS in their vision, mission, and activities during and after project implementation.
• If the organization is a member of any local and national network working on WPS is a plus.
• The organization started working at least one year before the selection.
