OVERVIEW
Elrha is inviting proposals for a project aimed at enhancing the evidence-based decision-making capabilities of its grantees. This project will focus on developing tools and methodologies to improve data gathering, analysis, and application in humanitarian projects, ensuring interventions are effectively tailored to meet the evolving needs of crisis-impacted populations.
OBJECTIVE
The project aims to achieve the following specific objectives:
- Develop Capacity for Evidence-Based Decision-Making:
- Enhance grantees’ abilities to gather, analyse, and utilise both qualitative and quantitative data effectively.
- Train grantees in using innovative tools and techniques for data analysis and decision-making.
- Create and Implement a Decision-Making Toolkit:
- Develop a comprehensive toolkit that includes templates, guidelines, and best practices for evidence-based decision-making.
- Ensure the toolkit is practical, user-friendly, and adaptable to different humanitarian contexts, incorporating feedback from field tests and stakeholder consultations.
TIMELINE
- Proposal Submission Deadline: May 29, 2024
- Evaluation Period: May 30 to June 7, 2024
- Interviews with shortlisted bidders: June 10 to June 14, 2024
- Contract Award: June 17, 2024
SELECTION PROCESS
- Proposal Requirements: Submissions must include a completed proposal form, detailed budget breakdown, and a non-collusive proposal certificate.
- Submission Email: Proposals should be sent to d.amias@elrha.org with the subject line: ‘Enhancing Evidence-Based Decision-Making for Elrha Grantees.’
- Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be assessed based on the clarity and feasibility of the proposed approach, the expertise and experience of the proposed team, and the overall cost-effectiveness of the proposal.
