Creative is seeking experienced technical advisors for the anticipated USAID/Eastern and Southern Caribbean Tertiary Anti-Violence Activity. This is a 5-year activity that aims to reduce youth involvement in gang violence and empower them with positive pathways by building national and regional capabilities to address gang-related crime and violence and tackling gang-related crime and violence through tailored interventions in schools, communities and detention facilities.
Location: We are looking for local technical advisors in Trinidad & Tobago, Saint Lucia, and Saint Kitts and Nevis and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Responsibilities
- Overall technical advisory services and expertise to the project and serves as the primary liaison on matters pertaining to the differentiated risk mitigation approaches in this Activity. She/he will help guide the design of programmatic approaches to violence prevention in-country.
- Identification of issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner, suggesting appropriate program adjustments and ensuring compliance with Creative policies and USAID regulations.
- Ability to train ministry staff on advocating for policy changes within government structures, resource mobilization, improved legislation, and community support for anti-violence activities.
- Design M&E frameworks tailored to violence prevention programs. This includes setting up metrics to evaluate intervention outcomes, analyzing trends in youth re-engagement or desistance from gang activities, and generating actionable insights for continuous program improvement.
Qualifications - Minimum a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the implementation of similar sized USAID or other donor- supported programs in East and Southern Caribbean is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners.
- Experience fostering relationships with relevant ministries and government entities and other stakeholder.
- Fluency in English.
