The Office of Admissions invites applications for a Campus Visit Coordinatorto join their team. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the campus visit experience. Primary responsibilities include scheduling and staffing the daily information sessions and campus tours and providing customer service support in the Admissions Welcome Center. As a part of this, you will recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of current students, known as the Grizzly Ambassadors. These students welcome visitors to campus and provide tours. This position will also make calls and send emails to prospective students. Other responsibilities include connecting with campus partners to provide a series of offerings to prospective students and families and providing logistical support for a variety of recruitment and outreach events that are offered on campus, in the community, or online.

- Ability to interpret and apply federal/state/university regulations and policies.
- Exceptional computer skills and ability to effectively use common office software (MS Office suite including Outlook and Teams; Zoom; Slate CRM.)
- Skills to effectively plan and execute both large-and small-scale events.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and frequently interact with the public.
- Deep commitment to providing outstanding customer service to a highly diverse population of students and their families.
- Willingness and ability to work occasional nontraditional hours (including weekends, evenings, and holidays) when needed.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
Minimum Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, as well as at least two (2) years of directly related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising a group of students, either at the college or high school level.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the academic programs and services offered at the University of Montana.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Banner and Slate CRM.
- Personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as demonstrated by participation in relevant trainings, persistent effort, active planning, allocation of resources, and/or accountability for DEI outcomes.

Position Title: Campus Visit Coordinator (Admissions Representative II)

Department: The Office of Admissions
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but may require some evenings and weekends
Salary: $21.291/hr Current employee’s rate of pay for this position will be determined by the staff compensation plan and will minimally be this posted salary. For questions and details regarding the staff compensation plan, email the Compensation Department .
Union Affiliation: FOCUS-MFPE
Probationary Period: Six months minimum
