Capacity Building Officer

Description

  1. Work together with the protection specialist to develop and implement comprehensive capacity building plans tailored to the specific needs of public employees, governmental volunteers, and office staff.
  2. Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and aimed at enhancing the professional skills and competencies of targeted individuals.
  3. In coordination with the project coordinator collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities within government offices and among public employees.
  4. Conduct training needs assessments to determine areas for capacity building interventions and skill development.
  5. Customize training materials and resources to address the diverse learning styles and backgrounds of participants.
  6. Organize and facilitate training sessions on topics such as organizational development, leadership skills, communication, and technical competencies relevant to government functions.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, pre-and-post assessments, performance metrics and training report.
  8. Provide ongoing support and coaching to trainees to reinforce learning outcomes and facilitate the application of new knowledge and skills in their work.
  9. Work together with the project coordinator to  coordinate with relevant government agencies and departments to ensure alignment and integration of capacity building initiatives with broader organizational goals and strategies.
  10. Monitor and track the progress of participants in their professional development journey, including identifying opportunities for further training and advancement.
  11. Prepare and submit regular reports to management on the implementation, impact, and outcomes of capacity building activities, including recommendations for future improvements and enhancements.
  12. Assign any other tasks from the Protection Officer and Project Coordinator.
  13. Support in translating when it has need it.

 

Capacity Bulling Officer work under supervision of Protection Officer and Project Coordinator.

Capacity Bulling Officer report to Protection Officer and Project Coordinator.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • bachelor degree i
  • at least 1 years of experience in related field
  • Experience in providing general protection training including CP and GBV to public and governmental employees.
  • good communication and reporting skills;
  • good IT knowledge;
  • Arabic  English language are required
