Capstone Village Building Services Coordinator – 522136

Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $44,200 – Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some nights and weekends possible

Job Summary: The Capstone Village Building Services Coordinator oversees the custodial and building services staff for Capstone Village.

Additional Department Summary: This position provides supervision for Custodial staff. Reviews renovation and construction projects, blue prints and overall plans for Capstone Village. Responsible for ensuring the Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities are in compliance with the State of Alabama Assisted Living Facility and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility Rules and Regulations.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of building or grounds experience; OR Associate’s degree and two (2) years of building or grounds experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and some building or grounds experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions..

Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in the operation of various types of janitorial/custodial equipment. Broad knowledge of building/facility operations. Knowledge of State of Alabama Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities Rules and Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications: Some experience working with University Construction, Facilities and University work order system, University Purchasing Department, and Environmental Health and Safety Department.

Knowledge of State of Alabama Assisted Living Facility and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility Rules and Regulations.
