My client has a well-established, medium-sized care home located in the heart of Hove, proudly holding a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Their home is dedicated to providing high-quality care, with a strong focus on creating a safe, supportive, and homely environment for their residents.The Role:
I am seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a well established team. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care that meets the individual needs of the residents.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a dedicated team of care professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining our Good CQC rating.
Oversee the care and support provided to residents, particularly those with dementia, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
Develop and implement care plans that reflect the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively to ensure the smooth running of the care home.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote the home’s reputation and service quality.Requirements:
NVQ Level 4 and 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home setting.
Strong understanding and experience of dementia care.
Demonstrable experience in maintaining Good CQC ratings or improving care standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A commitment to delivering person-centred care and upholding the highest standards of care quality.Benefits:
