CARPHA now invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following job opportunities:

CARPHA: Headquarters, Port of Spain, Trinidad

Administrative Assistant – Health Information, Communicable Disease and Emergency Response (HCE) – G4

The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Health Information, Communicable Disease and Emergency Response unit by performing work that consists of a variety of tasks that are carried out in accordance with prescribed standardized administrative practices and procedures; guidance concerning their applicability and interpretation is readily available. Working contacts are with staff members at all levels in the office and occasionally with individuals outside the office, requiring in-depth knowledge of CARPHA’s systems, policies and procedures.

Appointment may be on contract or on secondment from a Public Service or a statutory body of a Member State or approved regional organization. It will be subject to staff rules and policies, rules, regulations, orders and instructions as exist and as may be introduced from time to time with respect to service with the Caribbean Public Health Agency
