Epidemiologist – Tourism and Health Program (THP) – P3

Following the Talent Acquisition Opportunity announced on June 26, 2024, CARPHA wishes to re-circulate the opportunity and invite additional expressions of interest, from suitably qualified individuals, as we seek to widen the talent pool for the post of Epidemiologist THP.

The Epidemiologist, Tourism and Health Programme (THP) will support the achievement of the objectives of the 11th EDF Programme of Support for Health Security Strengthening for Prevention and Control of Outbreaks of Communicable Diseases in the Caribbean. Under the supervision of the Head, THP, the incumbent will provide oversight for implementing the Tourism and Health Information System in the highlighted CARPHA Member States, supporting the full integration of this visitor-based system into the existing national surveillance systems. This incumbent will also provide technical input in the continued development of the Caribbean Traveller’s Health Assurance Stamp and the Caribbean Traveller’s Health Mobile Application.

Appointment may be on contract or on secondment from a Public Service or a statutory body of a Member State or approved regional organization. It will be subject to staff rules and policies, rules, regulations, orders and instructions as exist and as may be introduced from time to time with respect to service with the Caribbean Public Health Agency
