The Case Manager is responsible for providing direct support to targeted individuals and families (such as returnees, internally displaced persons, and vulnerable groups), assessing their needs, and developing customized intervention plans to protect them and help them reintegrate and stabilize within the community, while ensuring safe referrals to other services in accordance with international standards.
Note: Applicants Must Be Strictly From Al-Qaim.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct Case Management: Accurately and confidentially identify, register, and assess cases requiring intervention (protection, psychosocial support, or economic support).
- Case Plan Development: Design and implement individualized action plans for each case based on needs assessments, and regularly monitor progress to ensure the achievement of desired goals.
- Referral and Follow-up: Facilitating the referral of beneficiaries to external services (health, legal, educational) in coordination with local organizations and entities, and following up on these referrals to ensure service delivery.
- Documentation and Archiving: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all cases, both digitally and in hard copy, while fully adhering to the principles of confidentiality and data security.
- Community Engagement: Building positive relationships with the local community, community committees, and partners in Al-Qaim district to facilitate access to the most vulnerable groups.
- Reporting: Submitting periodic reports (weekly/monthly) to the department director detailing case progress, challenges encountered, and success stories.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in case management or protection with local or international civil society organizations.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic (speaking and writing). English proficiency is a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and the ability to use electronic data collection systems (such as Kobo Toolbox).
Personal and Professional Competencies:
- Deep understanding of humanitarian protection principles, human rights, and gender norms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive cases with flexibility and emotional balance.
- Commitment to the organization’s Code of Conduct and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies.
- Priority: Preference will be given to applicants residing in Al-Qaim district or surrounding areas to ensure job stability and a thorough understanding of the local context.
