  • ­­­­­Base Salary: $100,210 – $112,222 (p.a.)
  • Total Effective Package: $122,462 – $135,978 (p.a.)*
  • Full Time, 2 year Maximum Term contract

About the role

The position provides case management to the families of children receiving assessment services or therapeutic interventions from the CYATS Team. Case management may include, but is not limited to, advocacy, outreach, parenting support, life skills, facilitating access to community services. The position works in partnership with an Aboriginal Family Support Worker in providing a range of interventions that aim to improve child outcomes with a focus on parents/ carers.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or degree, or post graduate qualifications in Psychology or other related field.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in providing case management & parenting support to vulnerable families that is child focused, family centred, trauma-informed and strengths based, and includes counselling, case management and parenting support.
  • Knowledge of child development, neurodevelopmental disorders (FASD, ASD, ADHD) and the impact of trauma on children
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain collaborative working partnerships with internal and external providers.
