Case Manager – Family Preservation and Restoration

Our teams are growing, and we require an experienced Case Manager with skills in providing front line support to families who are in the child protection system. You will work alongside parents to support and coach them to develop a family environment that nurtures and supports their children to thrive within their homes. This role involves Case Management, home visiting, psychoeducation, advocacy, connecting parents/caregivers with specialist services and community resources as well as preparing reports for DCJ and Children’s Court.
Anglicare utilise the Parents Under Pressure (PuP) Framework to guide practice, a leading Australian evidence-based practice developed by Griffith University in Queensland. The PuP framework combines psychological principles relating to parenting, child behaviour and parental emotion regulation within a case management model.
This role is a Maximum Term (till 19th Dec 2025) full time role based in Liverpool.
About you:
You will have a University qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare / Community Services, Social Science or related degree with at least 2 years work experience in the Child Protection system.
- Ability to actively engage high needs families and build relationships of trust and rapport to promote the change process
- Experience working with families and children with complex vulnerabilities such as domestic violence, drug or alcohol misuse, parenting skills, child behaviour management, learning difficulties, mental health and/or lack of a supportive network
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current Working with Children Check and NSW or National Driver’s Licence
