About the Program

Anglicare NT’s Housing Support Services in Alice Springs provides quality support to assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our services include transitional housing which may be available to enable people experiencing homelessness who are on the public housing waitlist to participate in the program.

About the Opportunity

As the Case Manager you will support participants of Anglicare NT’s Housing Support Services who are experiencing homelessness or housing crisis to address issues related to homelessness. You will use your prior experience in casework and working within a case management framework to assist clients to address underlying issues that are affecting their tenancy, build an understanding of their rights and responsibilities, and gain skills that promote a healthy, safe living environment.

You will use your excellent communication and people skills to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders such as Territory Families, Department of Housing & Community Development Services and DFV support services to provide quality outcomes for Anglicare NT participants.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Prior experience in casework and working within a case management framework with individuals and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders such as Dept. Housing and Community Development, Territory Families, family and domestic violence and mental health services.
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.
