The Iraqi Institution for Development (IID) is an independent, non-profit organization working in development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian response across Iraq. IID focuses on supporting vulnerable communities through integrated programs in livelihoods, MHPSS, and social cohesion.

About the Position

IID is seeking qualified, motivated Case Managers (Pending Donor Approval) to support the delivery of case management services to vulnerable individuals and families. The role focuses on identifying needs, providing support, and ensuring proper referrals to appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the MHPSS Technical Specialist (Line Manager) and provide regular updates on cases and progress
  • Identify and assess vulnerable individuals and families in need of support
  • Develop and manage individual case plans based on assessed needs
  • Provide direct psychosocial support and follow-up services
  • Ensure proper documentation and case file management
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information
  • Coordinate referrals to specialized services (health, legal, protection, etc.)
  • Follow up on referred cases to ensure service delivery
  • Work closely with MHPSS facilitators and field teams
  • Conduct home visits and field follow-ups when required
  • Participate in case review meetings and supervision sessions
  • Support data collection and reporting in coordination with the M&E team
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding and PSEA standards
  • Identify protection risks and escalate critical cases when needed
  • Support awareness activities and community engagement when required
