About the role

Join our well-established Kinship Care Program providing support to children and young people in the care of a family member when they are unable to live with their parents.

As part of a dedicated team, you will work in a structured program supporting children and young people living in kinship care statutory placements, ensuring their ongoing safety, stability and developmental needs.

You will manage a caseload of children and young people, including preparing court reports and placement documentation. We provide our caseworkers with clinical and emotional support, regular team meetings and development opportunities, including Life Story work.

About you

You will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or other related discipline (minimum Diploma level) and a current driver’s licence.

Your previous experience working with vulnerable children and families in the community service sector in care services and / or case management roles will be well regarded.

Demonstrated experience in engaging with families successfully and using an outreach model of service will set you up for success in the role.
