Duration of Contract: One-year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal to an open-ended contract. For internal candidates, this contract may be open-ended based on your existing contract status.

Objective:
The Cash & Market specialist 2 will designs, plans, implements, and monitors the Economic Security (EcoSec) department’s cash transfer and market-based programs in line with the Iraq strategy. Working under the supervision of their hierarchical superior, the position includes, among other responsibilities, program management, data analysis and reporting, internal and external coordination. He/She will contribute to the strategic orientations for the Economic Security (EcoSec) department and will also carry out field and office work related to implementing and monitoring the ICRC’s cash-transfer and market-based programmes across all four sub-delegations (Baghdad, Erbil, Mosul, and Nasiriyah), including the Micro Economic Initiatives (MEI) program. The position is based in Baghdad with up to 50% of his/her time dedicated to field work.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribution to the analysis of the socioeconomic and humanitarian context in Iraq.
Responsible for the Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) program design, implementation, and monitoring.
Contributes to market-based programming and external coordination.
Tool and database management A&E and AAP
Ensure comprehensive and concise institutional reporting.
