Institute of Health Sciences Education

Position Summary:

The candidate will assume the role of research co-ordinator for various health professions education (HPE) research projects.

 

Activities may include literature reviews; qualitative data analysis; data collection; data management; manuscript preparation; knowledge translation; project management; meeting coordination; coordination of research teams; research project management; grant preparation activities; research ethics submissions; research budget projections.

Qualifications:

Master’s level preparation in health professions education or related discipline;

PhD student;

Experience with qualitative research and social theory; critical pedagogy; Equity, diversity and inclusion; virtual reality in health professions education required.

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
