Do you have a passion for excellent customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly environment?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual, with an interest in the catering and hospitality sector to join our team, to provide efficient catering services to our wide variety of customers.
Working primarily in the hospitality side of the operation you will assist with the preparation, delivery (using the University Hospitality Van), service and clearing of hospitality bookings across our campuses, and looking after our conference delegates, whilst on site.
You will have catering, hospitality and/or barista experience and a ‘can-do’ attitude. Full training and support will be provided. It is an essential requirement for this post that you also hold a full driving license due to the nature of the duties.
The Catering Services department is integral in supporting several university activities such as Open Days, Graduation and hospitality events, and therefore, you will need to have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the business need – most likely shifts will be on a rota basis working five days out of seven between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm.
You will work at any of our Lincoln campuses, but primarily our Brayford Campus, in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Lincoln, and/or at our Lawress Hall site, set in the picturesque grounds of our 220-hectare Riseholme Campus, just north of the city centre. While the University shuttle bus runs between the two campuses throughout most of the day, having your own transport would be preferable.
We will be inviting candidates for interviews throughout the advertising period, so don’t delay your application – apply today!
If you have any questions or would like an informal chat about this role please contact Jade Willett, Deputy Catering Manager on [email protected]
