Conduct regular field visit and consultation with the targeted communities to design and set up the community center’s activities;
Provide the necessary assistance to the center’s team leaders and volunteers;
Organize and conduct regular meetings with the camp based committees;
Follow up and guide the work of the community out reach volunteers (COVs) including receiving and follow up the case referral;
Support the youth mobilizers (YM) in designing, planning and rolling out the youth-lead outreach activities;
Support the CWC team with the awareness campaigns and community events;
Conduct participatory assessments in coordination with UNHCR and other stakeholders;
Keep a very strong connection with the targeted communities and update the team leader about any challenge, protection risk or other;
Submit regular updates and reports according with UNHCR and TDH management instructions and templates;
Collect the needed data and information according with UNHCR and TDH management instructions and templates;
Providing awareness sessions to the community on the relevant topics
Support the CBP team with any other relevant task.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
very good knowledge of community mobilization and accountability systems for affected population.
Previous experience in NGO Child protection and knowledge of Humanitarian Aid System and procedures
at least 1 year of experience in related field
good communication and reporting skills;
Capable of working under stressful and difficult conditions.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
Computer literate on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Languages:
Comfortable in English, Arabic, and Kurdish.
